In order to feel a little productive, even though I'm REALLY avoiding my classwork, I thought I'd update my blog.
First, a warning: Be careful when opening steamy things from the microwave. Steam burns hurt.
Okay, I'm back on low carb, but I really love chocolate and pastries and sweet stuff. I've managed to hold off by eating Atkin's bars and smoothies and low carb egg nog, which is tasty.
Here's the recipe which I got from Atkins Friends Recipe Room and modified:
6 eggs
1 - 2 cups heavy cream
1 c water
1 Tbs sugar free Torani hazelnut syrup
1 Tbs vanilla
nutmeg, cinnamon, ground clove to taste
Blend ingredients together until foamy and drink. It's nummy good.
Serves 3

I love this eggnog a lot.
Err, this is kind of related... I've seen eggnog and egg nog. I'm too lazy to look it up in the dictionary, but as I'm typing this, egg nog has a little line of red dots under nog, so I'm thinking the correct version is eggnog.
